| Bio: | ![]() I'm aware rara venenum is incorrect usage. It would technically be venenum rarum, but it doesn't sound as good. socio-anarchist -- which is like a libertarian (yuck) with interest in social issues as opposed to self-centered issues. That the gov't's only purpose, if it exists, is to serve the people and make sure that everyone is cared for. Workers also receive the proper compensation for their labor. It's not communism. Socio-anarchism depends on the general population to make it work. Unfortunately, the theory couldn't work in practice -- human nature being what it is -- it would depend on people being more group oriented than individual orientated. People would have to work together. Humans aren't that civilized. We want it all at the expense of others. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Human Rights, Environmental, Labor, Conservation, Sustainable Living activism. spiritual, but not religious. poet and writer artist -- sculpting clay, mixed media; paint; mixed medias; textiles voracious reader and bibliophile obsessed with words & language/s - I have some French and Italian. I've been learning Latin. i find humans to be fascinating creatures - history, sociology, biology, philosophy, theology, psychology, nutrition, even physics. My art is mostly figurative and anything to do with people on all levels is intriguing to me. Music -- hard to describe what I like exactly. It covers a really broad range. Books -- I'll read anything that has words on it or in it. Doesn't mean I'll like it, but if it's all that's available at the moment, I'll read it for entertainment. Prefer dry scholarly texts (my friends tease me that it's easy for me to find discount books because I read what no one else wants to -- kind of them to say.) History, biography, fantasy/sci-fi fiction, art, philosophy, science texts covering a broad range, gardening books, sociology, psychology, theology, religion, reference, poetry, literature, fiction, non-fiction, educational/how to, political -- etc etc. INTP according to Meyers-Briggs tests. Preferably asocial and a loner. Best night out -- Dinner with friends with lots of food being shared, laughter, intellectual discourse, wit and general silliness -- even contrary to my introverted-ness. Best night in -- most nights: reading, researching more information off the internet, surfing the web, watching Youtube, listening to music. Fascinated by moody, broody, dark "evil genius" types. | |||||||
